| Pat Nailen Tournament
Lions Pride took a couple wrestlers down to Memphis for the the Pat Nailen Tournament. Although the tournament did not have a large wrestler attendance, it was beneficial for those that attended. For the 3 wrestlers it was their first experience wrestling freestyle and to say it was a bit of culture shock was an understatement. We did well and but most importantly we learned even more. Those that wrestled are looking forward to the next event so they can get better on the mat. For most it was simply just getting the jitters out and getting past the first freestyle match. The wrestlers were not sure what was to be expected however, when the whistle blew, they found out.
ALL IN ALL, a great day for those who went. Congratulations to those who attended, you can be assured it was worth the trip, win or lose.
