9 Lions Pride wrestlers spent the weekend wrestling in Indianapolis

Lions Pride took 9 wrestlers up to Franklin IN, just south of Indianapolis this weekend for the Grizzly-Iron man 2 day tournament. There were about 800-1000 wrestlers and it proved to be a very tuff tourney. We had a great showing again with a number of kids coming home with medals and trophies and for those that didn't they came home with something just as valuable, KNOWLDGE. Every time we step on the mat we get smarter and become better wrestlers. The reason Lions Pride attends these tournaments that have better competition is to make "OUR" wrestlers from this area that much better. We applaud those kids that choose to go because they see the benefit in wrestling "up" as we say. And for those parents that support this we applaud you as well.

Congratulations to our 9 wrestlers who spent a weekend getting an experience. Hopefully we will have a great showing this weekend at our own tourney.
